Tryouts submission are now open.

Please review the USSA age chart and submit a tryout registration form for the age appropriate team.

Each WBBC team is “self-managed” and specific inquires can sent to the linked contacts below or submit a contact us form and we will funnel to the appropriate team representative for follow-up.

The June tryout is only intended for prospective new players. All players (both returning or new) are asked to attend one of the two July tryouts.

9U RED AND 9U GRAY
The 2024 8U Wildcats are moving forward with the formation of both a 9U Red and a new 9U Gray team for the 2025-2025 season.

Tom Merry is continuing as GM/Manager for the 9U Red squad, while Dean Waltier is taking lessons learned as part of the 8U squad and is taking the lead as GM/Manger for 9u Gray.

10U RED
This team started at 8U, had a successful 9U season and is moving forward into their next phase as a 10U squad for the 2024-2025 season.

Will Robins continues as GM/Manager and is excited to continue to build on the lessons learned, success and challenges for the upcoming season.

10U GRAY 
WBBC is excited to announce that there will be a second 10U team for 2024-2025 season lead by approved GM/Manager, Chris Stafford and Asst Coach, Erik Naslund. 

TRYOUT AND TEAM FORMATION PROCESS 

10U Red team management has collaborated with 10U Gray and will use the existing tryout dates (7/15-7/16), along with additional data previously coordinated with 10U Red team management, to evaluate roster selections for both teams. 

  • First step: The 10U Red team will utilize collected tryout data to complete their roster invitation process and form their team. 

  • Second step: Once the 10U Red roster is completed, the 10U Gray team will proceed with their invitation process for players not selected by the 10U Red team.

The 2024-2025 11U Red squad is a “Premier” team with tournament entries targeted at Gold/Majors.

With returning rostered players, plus the addition of WBBC players who were previously “playing-up” to the older WBBC group and have aligned to 11U Red — the 11U Red roster is full and won’t be hosting any tryouts.

If you have an 11U player we kindly request you submit tryout applications to 11U Gray and 11U Black.

13U RED
The 2024-25 season will be the first for this 13U team with a focus on player development through reps and exposure at this format.

Our target entry for league and tournaments will be Bronze/Silver brackets and the goal to face similar competent teams to focus on competitive development through play time.

We are really looking forward to generating this team and providing an opportunity for kids to continue to build their skills as baseball players and teammates.

TRYOUT SESSION - POSTPONED AS OF 7/22/24
Tryouts for 13U Red have been postponed and the registration deadline has been extended. We will provide an update based on our registration demand and will look to hold this tryout in August accordingly.
